Report 2024-16


Hello, friends!

Once again, I’m here with a new weekly report instead of a new game version. So, let’s get straight to what was accomplished this week.

Fixed a bug with the Brazilian Portuguese translation of The Better Deal. Thank you to flaviopaganini who reported it.

Reworked the entire Bed Play system (besides the video viewing, which I completed earlier).


There are so many different options that arise under various conditions that I only remembered many of them when I looked at the code. It took some brainpower, but I think I’ve managed to get everything done as needed. Now everything is transparent and clear, with hints and markers for new content. So, Bed Play is fully completed.

I’ve also completely finished reworking the code for working at the Car Wash. Now everything is designed so you won’t accidentally miss anything.


I’ve also completed the entire morning routine from the moment of waking up. There’s a lot of different fetish-related content there, which has now been reworked. Added the ability to skip the morning routine, which leads directly to the action selection screen at 7 AM, where there is also a skip button to jump to 9 AM (when pressing the skip button, it will be considered that Lisa did a home workout and her health will accordingly improve—after all, you can never have too much health).


If Lisa’s morning games are not available for some reason, you’ll be explicitly informed about it.


 

Completely finished reworking Workouts and Morning Jogging.


In the image above, you see an animated screen for selecting sportswear with markers for new content. I made the same screen for choosing the jogging outfit.


Now Lisa cannot start jogging immediately with normal health. She will have to first exercise at home or swim at the beach.


But don’t worry, it’s not too grinding. To reach the required health level, you need to do morning workouts 10 times or swim 5 times. Of course, you can both swim and do morning exercises on the same day.

Completely finished reworking TV viewing. The scene where Lisa watches a funny erotic movie has also been tweaked. The chance to watch a funny erotic movie (the best option) is 1:3, while all other (worse options) have a 1:6 chance.


In the image above is a demonstration of the screen that appears when watching erotic movies. Actually, it’s a regular screen for selecting fetish-related content, just with four options at once. Last week, I only had animated 500×500 icons for two fetishes; now I have nine of them.

Reworked the code for home watersport scenes.


Now there are no random components—the player chooses which series of images/animations they want to watch. Some players complained that scenes where Lisa pees happen too often and become annoying. Now, to watch Lisa pee, you need to click on the animated icon; otherwise, Lisa will pee without your presence.

At the moment, I’m working on the shower scenes and am close to completing this part as well.


Here is a screen with a proposal to use a toothbrush not for its intended purpose. Of course, it’s animated, with hints and a marker for new content.


And this is the screen for selecting watersport-related content in the bathroom (animated, with hints, and a marker for new content).

All in all, a lot has been done. If last week I didn’t understand how this could be completed in reasonable time, now at least there’s light at the end of the tunnel. In fact, the most difficult things are already done. The code for managing new content, menus with hints, pseudo-unavailable menus (which look unavailable but respond to mouse hover and display hints), automatic hints showing exactly what’s missing to unlock unavailable content—many technical solutions, functions, and classes preventing the code from turning into unreadable dull shit, but instead giving it some pretension to elegance—all of this is already there. Now it’s just necessary to update the remaining unchecked game code using the ready-made tools.

So, that’s about it. I hope that next Monday I will already be at the stage of testing and adding translations. But as before, for now I can only promise that I will use every free minute to work on the game. I hope you understand. I really like how the game will look when I finish. And I’m very afraid to spoil all impressions with some unfinished elements and a swarm of bugs caused by haste and insufficient testing.

Sounds like some great code updates. Makes me wonder if starting over at some point, again would be a good choice to see progression as intended now... Thanks! Keep up the great work!
