Hello, Dear Supporters!

Long time no see! I have a bunch of information to share with you, so let’s start a new season of my reports!

First, I want to share this comic created by Nev. My longtime supporters know I planned to give you the choice of who Amy is: best friend or sister. However, I had to scrap this idea. Patreon has always banned incest, but recently, they’ve become really crazy about it, even banning developers with over $10K in income. I figured you’d prefer Beauty and the Thug without incest rather than without Beauty, the Thug, or anyone else at all, right? So, this comic is about that situation.


It’s funny but a little sad, too.

Nev also wrote a fanfic for “The Better Deal,” but, as the writer of this game, he left some spoilers in there, so… Sorry, this one is for internal use for now.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve worked hard on spreading my games to new platforms. The first thing was preparing “The Better Deal” for Steam release. The store page was approved quickly, and I set the release for July 26th. But my game build hasn’t been approved yet. I sent it for review on June 14th, and they said it would take 2-3 days, max 5 days. Then, my game build failed the automatic test, and I had to wait longer for manual testing. Finally, on June 28th, I got an answer: “Failure: Your app has failed our review because we’re unable to support the Early Access model of development for a game with mature themes. Please resubmit when your app is ready to launch without Early Access.”

I consulted with other developers: this is absolute nonsense. There are many adult games on Steam with Early Access. There’s no rule in Steam Policy that says otherwise. I replied the same day and then followed up a few days later, but no response yet. As they say, “This review typically takes 2-3 days, but please allow up to 5 business days in case feedback needs to be addressed.” It’s been nine days since then. Unfortunately, they can’t stick to their follow their own timeframe.

I’m very frustrated with this situation, and it takes a lot of mental effort to keep it from affecting my work.

Besides Steam, I applied to several other platforms. The first was SpicyGaming. It’s a relatively new platform. Recent changes in European law have made charging for NSFW games possible, and they launched their store this June.

A few days ago, I also launched my games on Oppaiman.com. Oppaiman, the author of the AVN “FreshWomen,” turned his official site into an adult game store. While there are fewer games compared to other platforms like itch.io, all of them are of exceptional quality. Oppaiman only publishes developers with at least 500 paid supporters on Patreon. But he made an exception for me and a few other developers, so now both of my games stand on his site in one row with the best of the best.

I also published free versions or trailers of my games on other sites like Newgrounds and Steamy Gamer. Both of my games are also on Summer Sale on itch.io, so you have a great opportunity to buy them at a very good price.

 

In addition to promotions, I spent some time improving the quality of my renders and animations. Not long ago, I purchased two assets (one and two) that create a ripple effect on buttocks. Using these assets, I could make my animations more pleasant and realistic. However, one guy suggested that the ripple wave should propagate up to the breasts. I honestly had no idea how to do that, and it made me sad. So, I spent the next day trying to achieve this effect, and after many hours of trial and error, I almost accidentally figured it out.


Even though I’m not entirely happy with how the wave propagates to the breasts, and that I spent money for the effect that now I can do myself, I still feel satisfied.


And this is what love tap looks like (it’s not a cyclic animation, so please don’t pay attention to the abrupt changing of the character’s pose):


A few weeks ago, I met a great guy online: Esteban Gonzales. He’s a very talented programmer who worked on a script for creating cyclic sex animations in DAZ 3D Studio. His script is way less popular than it deserves. I guess that’s because, even with a manual, it takes some time to understand how it works. However, when I got it, I realized it was a masterpiece. I created this animation using his script. It still has some flaws, but I believe with some practice, I will be able to create Blender-quality animations in DAZ Studio.



animation – a 120-image sequence, and you find out that in images 20-90, your character’s nipples are poking through the blouse. Now, you have several choices:

  • leave it as it is and add obviously defective animation to your game;
  • rerender the whole sequence, which could take a lot of time;
  • manually render the defective rectangle of the image. DAZ allows you to do that for one frame at a time but not for the frame sequence, so it will still take quite a lot of time and all your attention.

None of these solutions is perfect, and I’ve been looking for a method to render a specific rectangle in the frame sequence for years. If you remember that with my hair options, I need separate animations for shaven/unshaven pubes and armpits, you understand how desperately I needed this solution. And then Esteban Gonzales says, “Hey, I have a side project that solves the problem you’ve been looking to solve for years!” It’s like a miracle! During this time, I tried to help him as much as I could with testing and creating simple extensions for his script. He already has a testing version that works, and it will save me a lot of time with unshaven versions of animations and will probably allow me to create longer animations. I’m sure the final product will be amazing.

Okay, I think that’s all I wanted to share with you… Ah, no, I almost forgot! You probably want to know about the progress in developing Beauty and the Thug, right? I should say I forgot a little about the sequence of events, and when I checked the script, I realized that a big event for the next update I announced before will be on Day 28, not on Day 25, which I’m working on now. On Day 25, there’s still a big event, but another one. It’s not as crucial as the Day 28 event, but no worries – there’s no difference in terms of hot scenes. Thus, we have the following:

  • A big event on Day 25 – for Hunter and Hunter + Amy routes. It will definitely be included in the next update.
  • Math test on Day 26 – most likely, it will be included in the next update.
  • Day 27 – laundry day. This time I will do a shorter event because I want to focus more on the main storyline. Also, a small event for pure Amy’s route.
  • Day 28 – another big event. Most likely, it will not be included in the next update, but we will see.
  • Besides that, I have some plans to improve existing materials. At the very least, I’m going to create a tutorial at the beginning of the game and add the ability to skip more routine events.

 

I have already created four scenes: two for Hunter’s route and two for Hunter + Amy’s route. To reach Hunter’s route scenes, you need to be on Hunter’s route and make Amy leave on Day 24.

To reach Hunter + Amy’s route scenes, you need to be on Hunter’s route and not let Amy leave on Day 24.

For pure Amy’s route, there will be a routine day that I have already created in the previous update. If you insist, dear players, I will add more sandbox events for pure Amy’s route.

 By now, I’ve created over 500 renders and over 30 animations. Some developers publish updates with such a volume of new material!
