Hello, dear supporters! It's been a little while since our last update, and I apologize for that delay. Last Sunday, I caught a nasty virus, which left me unable to work for a few days. Thankfully, I'm on the mend now, although still in the recovery process. Interestingly, dealing with COVID was somehow easier than this! Perhaps it's because my boss had no choice but to let me stay home with COVID, but didn't show any concern for other viruses.

However, yesterday was highly productive, helping make up for those days I couldn't work. In fact, a substantial amount has been accomplished over the past three weeks.

The Better Deal

I've completed the rendering and coding phases. I've selected all the necessary elements, including fonts and background music. Testing is finalized. I've sent it over to Nev for the final round of testing. Fortunately, Nev didn't encounter any bugs but did offer a few suggestions. Applying these might take around an hour. As such, the initial release is primed and ready. I only need to prepare my website and Patreon and Subscribestar pages for the second game, and we're set!

Initially, my plan was to publish The Better Deal on Patreon, Subscribestar, and Itch.io. However, I've decided to hold off on sharing it via Itch.io for now. Sheltatha's recent comment highlighted the downsides of releasing early versions, even with clear indicators. In reality, that comment caused a 50% reduction in sales.

Consequently, you'll be able to access The Better Deal through my Patreon or Subscribestar. There won't be a separate page for my second project. So, if you're already a supporter, there's nothing more you need to do. The estimated playtime is around 40 minutes. It comprises 639 images and four animations. The game's current size is just 227 MB. It also includes a few choices that influence the protagonist's sexual preferences.

Additionally, I've compiled all the renders and animations for another instance of Lisa's nude beach journey. The animations are finished, though the renders still need post-processing.

Right now, I'm working on the last event I planned for this release - Carla's and Mia's event. After that, both of my games will be ready for release!

If it was not for the disease and some other IRL stuff, one of my games would be published. However, we have what we have. I really hope this is the last report before the release of my games.
