2025-06 Report

Hello there, friends!

At long last, it’s time for another report!
But before we dive in, I’d like to give a shout-out to our buddy Aqwaa—he recently celebrated his birthday! We haven’t been working together for very long, but his help has been absolutely priceless. Here’s wishing him all the success in the world (and a hefty dose of good health, too).

Sadly, the festivities were a bit overshadowed by a dastardly raccoon, who crept up behind an unsuspecting Aqwaa and swiped his lighter! Feel free to leave your condolences in the comments.

Tough Times and Workload Woes

The last two weeks have been tough for a lot of people. Some of you know I’m from Ukraine, and current world events haven’t exactly been inspiring. I’m really looking forward to the day Elon Musk finally finishes his rocket to Mars—and takes Trump with him.

Over the past week, my regular job has been severely understaffed, so I ended up with way too much work and precious little time for these my projects. On the upside, my boss might have finally realized just how indispensable I am to the company. Or maybe not. Or maybe he just couldn’t care less. Oh well. Next week should be easier (fingers crossed).

Windows Meltdown and Recovery

Things wrapped up in style this week when Windows decided to glitch out so badly I had to reinstall it. It all started when the screen began flickering. Thanks to ChatGPT, I now know there are about a million possible reasons for that. Not that this knowledge actually helped much, but hey, knowledge is power, right?

After a few rounds of shutting down, turning on, and fiddling with the BIOS, the flicker vanished. The screen just went dark and refused to turn on at all. Another session of the tried-and-true “turn it off and on again” therapy eventually brought it back to life. Full of optimism (and pretending it wasn’t the one almost coaxing me into buying an expensive but “absolutely vital” APC backup), ChatGPT assured me the culprit was probably that I hadn’t restarted my computer in weeks, so everything was going to be A-okay now.

At first, things really did seem fine. I updated my GPU and motherboard drivers and breathed a sigh of relief. Then came the final act of this opera: Windows glitched out completely and refused to boot.

I spent Saturday restoring my system. The reinstall wiped all my programs, but thankfully it generated a handy list of everything it uninstalled. I thought it would take me a few days to set everything back up, but I actually managed to get it done overnight. It really helped that I had a second computer with DAZ Studio installed. All my carefully organized presets on my main machine were nuked. Gone. Poof. Who knows how long it would’ve taken me to recreate them (or if I even could have) if I hadn’t been able to copy them from the other PC. Funny how life works, huh? And to think I only set up that second computer recently.

Game Progress: Melissa Event & Riley’s Role

In spite of all that chaos, I got quite a lot done. This week I worked on the Melissa event for the pure lesbian route. Quick reminder: we weren’t originally planning this part, but we created it especially for those of you who want to play a purely lesbian character. Instead of just skipping over the heterosexual scene, we decided to add a separate branch—which will lead to a few extra happy ending variants.

I might have gone a teensy bit overboard with the script for this event. Not only did it turn out longer than the original heterosexual scene—it’s actually the longest scene in the entire game so far. At the moment, it’s got 348 images and 33 animations (compared to the previous record-holder at 297 images and 36 animations). And I’m still not done with it! Thanks to all the aforementioned drama, I’m just a little behind schedule, but I didn’t want to push this report out to a third week.

Riley decided to drop by Melissa’s office at the medical station, making sure no one else was around. You’ll see what came of it soon enough. People have asked if Riley can be submissive in a BDSM relationship. The answer is yes—in her relationship with Melissa. In a BDSM relationship with Sunny (which can also stay vanilla if the player prefers), Riley will be the dominant one.

Animation Improvements and What’s Next

First, I worked on a more realistic “squirt” animation for Riley. I think it turned out pretty well. Unfortunately, creating that kind of animation is pretty cumbersome, so I might need to brainstorm ways to streamline the process. But the concept itself works, and I used it in about ten animations.

I also became a patron of Esteban, a very talented script developer. Long-time followers know I’ve used his scripts to build animations before, but I wasn’t totally happy with the somewhat jerky results, so I went back to more traditional animation methods.

Recently, I checked out what new stuff Esteban’s been up to (https://subscribestar.adult/3desteban) and discovered he’s seriously improved his scripts. I used them for a sex animation in the game, and I’m quite pleased: it’s smooth and looks just the way I want. I think I’ll keep experimenting with them—Esteban’s still refining his work, and I’m excited to see how it evolves.

That’s pretty much it for now, folks. After I wrap up this event, I’ll only have two left to do, and neither is nearly as big. I won’t throw out any specific dates, but we are slowly approaching release.

Wishing you all the very best, and thank you for your continued support!

I hope your computer issues won't come back.

Thanks again to give us this possibility.
I must say it's why I decided to buy your 2 games on Itch. And also because I enjoy Beauty and the Thug from the start I think you hard works deserve to buy your games.
